Dertour offers flexibility for travel to the Middle East
Middle East is the sought-after destination for the winter months. To facilitate early-stage bookings, Dertour Austria has launched a new benefit for its partner agencies. They have specifically taken the current geopolitical situation into account. Travellers who book and confirm a winter trip to the Middle East by the end of July can expect a free flexibility package.
Free flexibility for early bookings
The new sales promotion applies to winter packages in the 2026/27 season. Travel agencies are allowed to add the so-called “Winter Flex Package Orient” free of charge through the TravelCompass or CRS systems with every applicable booking until 31 July 2026.
This option covers a wide portfolio of brands under the group, including Dertour, ITS Reisen, Meiers Weltreisen and Travelix Last Minute. The aim is to give agencies an additional sales advantage. Currently, clients are looking for more secure conditions when planning their winter holiday in sunny destinations.
Wider destination coverage and more favourable cancellation terms
The benefit applies to travel taken between 1 November 2026 and 30 April 2027. The offer includes some of the most sought-after regions of the Orient: the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Jordan.
In practice, the added package guarantees customers one free rebooking. It also allows for the possibility of cancelling a trip at no extra cost up to 29 days before the planned departure. For agencies This means less pressure when concluding earlier bookings. Furthermore, it ensures a better sense of security for the passengers themselves. Given the situation, it is expected that the promotion will be extended for a longer period. However, let's await Dertour's decision.
