Ryanair and Booking Holdings sign „historic“ partnership

Ryanair has announced the signing of a „historic partnership“ with Booking Holdings group, whose portfolio includes the global brands Booking.com, Kayak, Priceline, and Agoda.

This agreement will give users of these platforms access to Ryanair's entire network of over 235 destinations. At the same time, passengers booking Ryanair flights through Booking Holdings' brands will be able to connect to myRyanair account without further verification, ensuring they directly receive all key flight information.

Greater transparency and security for passengers

Ryanair highlights that this partnership confirms the model of cooperation between the airline and approved OTA partners, offering customers more choice at lower prices, with guaranteed transparency.

Ryanair's list of approved OTA partners already includes loveholidays, lastminute, Travelfusion, Paxport, Kiwi, On the Beach, TUI, El Corte Ingles and Expedia. Booking Holdings is now joining this circle, further strengthening Ryanair's distribution strategy through proven online channels.

Dara Brady, Ryanair's Marketing Director, stated:
„This partnership ensures that passengers using Booking.com, Kayak, Priceline, and Agoda benefit from full price transparency and timely flight notifications directly to their phones. The collaboration demonstrates how approved OTA partners and Ryanair can work together to protect consumers and provide them with more choice at lower prices.“

Todd Henrich, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development at Booking Holdings, added:
„Partnering with Ryanair offers passengers even greater value, as we combine a network of 235 destinations with the intuitive technology and flexibility of our brands. Our mission is to provide a reliable and seamless booking experience for travellers worldwide.“

This move comes at a time when the importance of transparent cooperation between airlines and online agencies is growing. Ryanair, which has fought against „unauthorised OTA practices“ for years, is now strengthening its control over distribution and passenger communication through such agreements.
