In the second quarter of 2025, passengers achieved 245.9 million overnight stays in short-term accommodation in the European Union, booked via platforms such as Airbnb, Booking, and Expedia. Eurostat data confirms the continuation of strong growth in online bookings, making 2025 already look like an exceptionally successful year for European tourism.
Easter spurred record numbers in April
