Air Serbia launches seasonal route between Belgrade and Brač

A new direct air link will operate twice a week until mid-September. This means Brač is included in Air Serbia's flight network for the first time.

On the arrival of the first aircraft Air Serbia Brač Airport has officially opened a new seasonal route connecting Belgrade and the island of Brač. Flights commenced on June 20th. The carrier will operate them on Wednesdays and Saturdays until September 12th. ATR 72 aircraft are operating on the route.

The inaugural flight was marked with a special reception at Brač Airport. The Nike's were greeted by representatives of the airport and local tourist boards, with traditional Dalmatian music and refreshments.

The new route provides a direct connection from the island to Serbia's capital during the peak of the summer season. It also further expands the range of air links to the Croatian coast.

Introducing Brač to your network Air Serbia During the summer season, it flies to almost all Croatian international airports, with the exception of Osijek. It maintains year-round routes to Zagreb and Split. During the summer, Dubrovnik, Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, and now Brač are also in the network.

The company ran scheduled flights between Belgrade and Split for the first time last winter, throughout the entire winter season. For the upcoming winter, it plans to increase the number of flights on this route. An official confirmation of the introduction of winter flights to Dubrovnik is also expected. With such moves, it would further strengthen its presence in the Croatian market.
