Slovenian Railways takes a majority stake in Nomag

Nomago is entering a new chapter of development – Slovenian Railways is becoming the majority owner of one of the region's leading mobility companies. Following an agreement with the previous owner, Adventura Investments, SŽ will first take a 75.1% stake and plans to become the sole owner by 2027.

Despite the change in ownership structure, Nomago remains an independent company, but now with additional backing. The focus remains on developing integrated mobility services and expanding its offering in domestic and international markets.

This acquisition is part of a broader strategy by Slovenske železnice, which includes strengthening intermodal connectivity and positioning itself as a key player in future mobility.
