ETF Airways in Zagreb has presented ETF Travel: a new tourism story starting from aviation
ETF Airways has taken a new step from aviation towards tourism and presented ETF Travel, a new travel agency that will transfer aviation experience into the organisation of private, business and specialised travel.
Yesterday in Zagreb we had the opportunity to attend the presentation of a new travel agency ETF Travel, a project originating from the well-known aviation environment of the Croatian airline ETF Airways.
The get-together took place in a relaxed atmosphere, fellow tourism industry professionals. You could sense that this was a new project, but also that behind it stood a team who know travel, logistics and everything that goes on behind a flight very well indeed.
The presentation was opened by the founder ETF Stjepan Bedić, who briefly explained how the idea for ETF Travel came about and the direction in which the project aims to develop. Following him, Sabina Ćerimagić Babić She presented the new agency, its services and plans in more detail.
From aviation to travel organisation
Offer ETF Travela it will cover individual, group and business travel, flight and accommodation bookings, transfers and charter arrangements.
A dedicated segment logically remains tied to aviation. ETF Travel plans to support airlines, flight and cabin crew, technical staff and other professionals who often require rapid and flexible travel changes.
Precisely that experience could be one of the greatest advantages of the new agency. When you work in aviation every day, you know very well how much travel depends on details, timely response and good organisation.
Rovaniemi as one of the first announced stories
The new website was also shown at the presentation etf.travel, where information on services and initial programmes is already available.
Among them, it stands out Rovaniemi Express, a day trip from Zagreb to Finnish Lapland. The programme includes a direct charter flight, crossing the Arctic Circle, visiting Rovaniemi and meeting Santa Claus during the festive season.
For ETF Travel this is only the beginning. Following the introduction to partners and the launch of the new website, the development of new programmes follows, and it will be interesting to follow the direction in which the agency will develop its offering and how much it will utilise synergy with ETF Airways in the process.
