APG has taken over the representation of TAP Air Portugal in Croatia

APG Slovenia & Croatia has expanded its business and, as of October 1, 2026, assumed the role of exclusive General Sales Agent (GSA) for TAP Air Portugal in Croatia. This brings the representation of the Portuguese airline on the Croatian and Slovenian markets under the same regional team.

The change includes taking over commercial activities and support tourist agencies These tasks are related to reservations and the issuance of air tickets. From APG they announce that the priority is to ensure the continuity of business and a smoother transition to the new representation model.

Unique support for Croatian and Slovenian agencies

APG already has experience in representation TAP Air Portugal in Slovenia, and by extending its mandate to Croatia, it further strengthens its presence in the region.

The most important change for Croatian tourism agencies is the change in the organization of sales and operational support. Reservations and issuance of individual air tickets continue as normal with the application of standard BSP procedures for the Croatian market.

Group bookings and requests for group fares will be processed through the TAP Fly Groups platform, while the regional APG team will be responsible for inquiries related to prices, special commercial approvals and promotional offers.

Such a model should simplify communication with the airline, especially with agencies that regularly sell TAP flights or organize group trips.

Regional approach to sales and market development

For APG, the expansion of cooperation represents a continuation of business development in the markets of Croatia and Slovenia. The regional office in Ljubljana, led by Barbara Kostanjšek, already represents several international airlines, and TAP Air Portugal is among its existing partners.

Combining the two markets can enable better coordination of sales activities, promotions, and relationships with travel agencies. The potential for selling trips to Portugal is particularly interesting, but there are also further connections via Lisbon to North and South America and Africa.

For agencies operating in the Croatian and Slovenian markets, the new organization should bring a single regional contact point for TAP Air Portugal, with support in daily sales and the development of new business opportunities.
