This problem includes geopolitical risk and government advisory restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">geopolitical tensions and frequent airspace closures in <a href=\"https:\/\/tragento.com\/en\/europske-zrakoplovne-kompanije-imaju-razlicite-strategije-oko-povratka-na-bliski-istok\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"9506\">In the Middle East recently<\/a> created serious pressure on the business of travel agencies. The biggest challenge in selling tickets for regional and transit flights so far has been the fact that standard travel insurance automatically becomes void the moment a state issues an official warning against travelling to a particular country. In order to regain travellers' confidence and offer <a href=\"https:\/\/tragento.com\/en\/category\/tourism-industry-2\/\" type=\"category\" id=\"208\">industrial solution,<\/a> Emirates, in collaboration with insurance giant Travel Guard, has launched a new product. This product directly addresses these crisis situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The product named \u201eComprehensive Travel Cover\u201d is available in the markets of Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and a number of other European and global countries. It can also be purchased directly when booking flights.<sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-presedan-u-avioindustriji-pokrice-bez-obzira-na-vladina-upozorenja\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Precedent in the aviation industry: Cover regardless of government warnings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The key advantage of this policy, which also represents a precedent in the aviation insurance market, is the introduction of so-called conflict cover.<sup><\/sup> Travellers who find themselves in a situation affected by regional conflicts are entitled to reimbursement for medical expenses up to USD 25,000. Furthermore, they are entitled to a free trip extension of up to 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is most important for corporate travel agents and managers is that this policy remains valid regardless of official restrictions and security recommendations from foreign ministries. Otherwise, this is a standard termination clause for conventional insurers.<sup><\/sup> In addition to these specific elements, the policy standardly covers unlimited medical treatment costs and emergency evacuation on a global scale. It also covers trip cancellation and compensation for delayed or lost luggage.<sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-operativna-podrska-i-prebacivanje-na-druge-prijevoznike\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operational support and switching to other carriers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the B2B sector, information on how operational flight disruptions will be managed is crucial. In the event of airspace closures or flight cancellations caused by conflicts, Emirates takes full care of passengers.<sup><\/sup> This includes the organisation and financing of hotel accommodation. Furthermore, the most important thing for the smooth continuation of the journey is rerouting passengers onto flights of other airlines if Dubai's own routes are unavailable or cancelled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This move significantly reduces the pressure on agency customer support during crises, as the resolution of rerouting is partly transferred to the carrier itself. With this package, <a href=\"https:\/\/tragento.com\/en\/category\/aviation-industry\/\" type=\"category\" id=\"41\">Emirates<\/a> It also reminds of the existing flexible conditions within its booking system. Indeed, this move has already triggered a chain reaction among Gulf competitors. Almost simultaneously, neighbouring Etihad Airways has launched its own programme in collaboration with Abu Dhabi's tourism authorities.
