Also covered are guide services, promotion and advertising of tourist products, as well as visa intermediation if the purpose is exclusively tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The provisions relating to digital channels carry particular weight. Online platforms and applications that allow for bookings or searches of tourist trips to Russia are also included within the regulatory framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-vazne-iznimke-koje-ostaju-na-snazi\">Important exceptions that remain in force<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, the clarifications also foresee clear exceptions. General tourist information intended for a wide market, such as guides and information portals, will not be subject to the ban if they do not include personalised advice or sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The restrictions do not apply to private travel, for example, family visits, nor to business travel. Travel by Russian citizens to European Union countries also remains outside this regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-kako-na-situaciju-gleda-trziste\">How does the market view the situation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Industry speakers highlight that the new interpretations mainly formalise the existing situation. The Russian broadcasting market has already experienced a significant decline in previous years, and most agencies have adapted their business models to the new circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In operational terms, the travel opportunities for Russian citizens to European destinations still exist through valid legal channels. This is particularly the case when travellers have regulated residency or other appropriate documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Industry experts emphasise that the key objective of clarification is to remove legal ambiguities. Particularly in the online sales and digital intermediation segment, where there have previously been differing interpretations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This reduces regulatory risk for European companies and introduces a more predictable business framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-info wp-block-paragraph\">The new clarifications therefore bring more legal clarity than market surprises.
