Nevertheless, the city has not lost its appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-kongresi-drze-stabilnost\">Congress holds stability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the leisure segment weakened, convention tourism remained strong. Las Vegas hosted around 6 million conference attendees, almost as many as the previous year. A key role is played by <strong>The Las Vegas Convention Centre<\/strong>, one of the largest convention centres in the world. Business events and trade fairs continue to fill hotels and planes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The leisure segment has declined for several reasons. Reduced international travel, trade and immigration policies, and rising accommodation and service prices. Las Vegas has become a more expensive destination in recent years, leading some guests to seek out more affordable options. To reverse the trend, the LVCVA has launched a \u00a335 million marketing campaign. The focus is on promoting more affordable packages and a clear message: Las Vegas still offers value for money, even in challenging times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hoteli-blagi-pad-ali-i-dalje-iznad-prosjeka\">Hotels: slight dip, but still above average<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Average hotel occupancy was 80.31%. This is a decrease compared to 2024, but still significantly above the US average. The average room rate fell to USD 183.5, and RevPAR to USD 147.3. Despite this, the city of more than 150,000 rooms remains one of the most attractive hotel markets in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pogled-prema-2026\">Outlook towards 2026.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New entertainment events, resort openings, and a packed calendar of events breed optimism. Las Vegas is increasingly building a balanced model that combines convention, leisure, and event tourism. This very diversification should be the foundation of recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It remains to be seen how much these measures will affect the recovery of travel to Las Vegas.
