Unlike ID travel, which primarily serves airline staff, PEP offers can come from airlines, hotels and other tourism suppliers. They allow <strong>travel agents<\/strong> to experience a destination or service first hand. The offer can serve as an employee benefit and help staff advise clients from direct product knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PEP conditions vary by supplier. Some offers carry a substantial discount, but 50\u201375% is not a standard rate. Agency employees usually need to verify their employment. The supplier decides whether a companion or family member may travel and whether the seat is confirmed or space-available. <strong>For example:<\/strong> an agent selling long-haul trips could use a PEP offer to visit a destination at a lower fare and gain firsthand knowledge for client advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are ZED fares?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ZED (<em>Zonal Employee Discount<\/em>) is an interline staff travel framework among participating airlines. Fares follow distance zones and agreed levels, often Low, Medium or High. Many ZED tickets operate on a <strong>stand-by principle<\/strong>, so a traveller boards only if seats remain.
