According to a new report <em>Global Car Rental Sector Market Estimates 2025<\/em>, even <strong>59 percent of all online bookings<\/strong> happens today <strong>own channels<\/strong> Car rental company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This result is not accidental. In recent years, the sector has consolidated strongly \u2014 several global brands like <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.enterprise.com\">Enterprise<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hertz.com\">Hertz<\/a> i <a href=\"http:\/\/www.avis.com\">Avis Budget Group<\/a><\/strong> dominates the market, investing in <strong>direct digital platforms, proprietary apps and loyalty programmes<\/strong>. Instead of relying on intermediaries, companies are building <strong>direct link to users<\/strong>, thus reducing costs and strengthening control over prices and promotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eA strong focus on our own digital channels allows us to better understand travellers\u201c needs and respond in real-time,\" the report states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the tourism sector \u2014 especially <strong>agencies, TMCs and DMCs<\/strong> \u2014 this signifies a new phase of adaptation. OTAs, which have dominated online distribution for years, are losing market share in the car rental segment, while <strong>Partnerships with rent-a-car companies are becoming increasingly profitable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co-operation through <strong>B2B API integrations<\/strong> i <strong>dynamic offers<\/strong> could become standard, and agencies that get involved in this trend early can achieve higher margins and greater control over the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rise of digital autonomy in rent-a-car brands clearly shows the direction of market trends. <strong>Fewer intermediaries, more direct value<\/strong>.
