This year, the event once again confirmed its status as the leading regional conference dedicated to digitalisation and professionalisation. <a href=\"https:\/\/tragento.com\/en\/category\/tourism-industry-2\/short-term-let\/\">short-term rental industry.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-odlicna-organizacija-i-pozitivna-energija\">Excellent organisation and positive energy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year's VRM Days stood out for its exceptionally good organisation, dynamic schedule, and thoughtfully designed programme which allowed attendees to choose topics according to their own interests. The parallel halls were filled to capacity \u2014 <strong>the programme took place simultaneously on the main stage<\/strong>, where did it take place <strong>The central part of the conference with panels and lectures by leading experts<\/strong>, to <strong>in the small hall<\/strong>, in which <strong>Partner companies organised practical workshops and presentations of their solutions<\/strong>. This structure enabled participants to choose between inspirational strategic themes and practical, educational content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The atmosphere among attendees \u2013 from accommodation owners and property managers to marketing experts and developers \u2013 was extremely positive and professional. Over two days of lectures, workshops, and panels, the conference proved that it has become more than just a professional gathering \u2013 it is a space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and the creation of business opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Opening the conference, <strong>Sa\u0161a Bosanac<\/strong>, founder of VRM Days, highlighted the importance of the role of private accommodation in global tourism:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cPrivate accommodation accounts for over 14 percent of global tourism traffic today, and the aim is to find ways to further increase this share.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-prvi-dan-tehnologija-marketing-i-rast-poslovanja\">Day one: Technology, marketing, and business growth<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first day featured presentations on market trends and short-term rental prospects in Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The introductory lecture \u201eMarket trends &amp; How to capture the demand in Croatia\u201c was led by <strong>Antonio Laveneziana<\/strong> (Airbnb) \u2013 showed how global and local trends are impacting the Croatian market.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This was followed by the lecture \u201eCroatia's STR Market: Insights, Trends, and Outlook 2025\/2026\u201c, held by <strong>Miro Bla\u017eevi\u0107<\/strong> (Lighthouse) which brought relevant data about the local market.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Panel <em>Beyond Beds: additional &amp; hidden revenue<\/em> moderated <strong>Mi\u0161ko Macoli\u0107<\/strong> (Marketing), the panellists were <strong>Tomislav Cimerman<\/strong> Krk Adria, <strong>Josip \u017durak<\/strong> Authland I <strong>Igor Popovi\u0107<\/strong> (Adriagate) \u2014 they discussed how additional services, experiences and personalisation are becoming more important than the overnight stay itself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The topic \u201eChannel Management in the Age of Digital Natives: What the Next Generation Expects\u201c was also touched upon <strong>Silvanom Cvek<\/strong> (Beerent) as the main speaker, who highlighted the changes brought about by digital guest generations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the afternoon session, the workshop \u201eScaling Smart: How Tech Will Empower the Next Era of Short-Term Rental Leaders\u201c was moderated by <strong>Jessica Gillingham<\/strong> (Abode Worldwide) among panellists <strong>Lee Bonvoisin<\/strong> Hostaway, <strong>Tomislava Zovka<\/strong> (On the run), <strong>Alexandra Limperta<\/strong> (GuestReady) I <strong>Barbara Vincenzi<\/strong> (HomeToGo) \u2013 Theme: How technology enables growth and scaling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The lecture \u201eThe Social Media Marketing Mix\u201c was given by <strong>Daniela Derin<\/strong> (Skol Apartments) with specific advice on online presence and marketing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The day concluded with a networking dinner and informal conversation \u2013 a moment for forging connections that often blossom into collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-drugi-dan-ai-brendiranje-i-buducnost-hrvatskog-turizma\">Day two: AI, branding and the future of Croatian tourism<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second day began with the lecture \u201eTech-Enabled Hospitality: The Forces Redefining the Modern STR Operator\u201c, which was led by <strong>Jessica Gillingham<\/strong> (Abode Worldwide) \u2013 focus on the impact of technology in hospitality and short-term rentals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The lecture \u201eNew trends in travels\u201c had <strong>Vlatko Pavlovi\u0107<\/strong> (Booking.com), which showed how traveller habits are changing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The panel \u201eCroatia: 2026-2031 predictions \u2013 Future of Croatian tourism\u201c was moderated by <strong>Goran Rihelj<\/strong> (hrturizam.hr), and the panel participants were <strong>Iva Bencun<\/strong> (Zadar Tourist Board), <strong>Oliver Kesar<\/strong> (Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb) and <strong>Dragan \u0160imac<\/strong> (Analitix.ai) \u2013 they discussed long-term trends, sustainability, and sector development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The lecture \u201eIf you're selling, but not building your own brand \u2013 you're building someone else's\u201c brought <strong>Barbara Slade Jagodi\u0107<\/strong> (Slade.hr), promoting the significance of its own brand and positioning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The theme \u201eService or Experience? How AI is Changing the Rules of Hospitality\u201c was addressed through a presentation <strong>Vedrana Bajera<\/strong> (Wonderful), focusing on personalisation and artificial intelligence in the guest experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The panel \u201eHow to choose the right one? And why are there so many tech issues?\u201c was moderated by <strong>Ivan Brezak Brkan<\/strong> (Netokracija) with panellists <strong>Daria Alfirevi\u0107a<\/strong> (Nokumo), <strong>Giovanni Conte<\/strong> (PriceLabs), <strong>Magnanelli Brand<\/strong> (Avantio) i <strong>Bojan Pe\u0161i\u0107<\/strong> (Tokeet) \u2013 Theme: Choosing the right technological solutions and implementation challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-success wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vrmdays.com\/\">VRM Days 2025 Conference<\/a> She offered not only an overview of current topics in the short-term rental sector, but also concrete tools, examples, and contacts that can bring a business advantage.<br>With this edition, Zagreb has once again confirmed itself as a centre for innovation and ideas in tourism, and the organisers have raised the bar of expectations for next year \u2013 with a clear goal for
