Instead of guests having to read them individually, algorithms are extracting answers, summaries and recommendations from them that are increasingly entering directly into the booking process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A hotel review is no longer just a comment for the next guest to read. It is becoming part of a database from which AI can deduce whether a hotel has a good breakfast, quiet rooms, parking, an electric vehicle charger, or family-friendly amenities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Booking.com clearly indicated that direction as early as 2024. In its Property Q&amp;A feature, generative AI answers specific questions using data from the hotel's profile, photographs, and guest reviews. At the same time, the platform has started developing AI review summaries so that users do not have to trawl through a large number of individual comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-ai-ulazi-izravno-u-rezervacijski-proces\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">AI is entering directly into the reservation process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The change was further accelerated this summer. On 27 August 2026, Google began rolling out hotel booking within AI Mode in the US. The user describes a trip and desired hotel with a conversational query, and Google displays suggestions along with reviews and other comparison elements. The booking can then be completed through integrated hotel chains and OTA partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This changes how a hotel needs to view guest-generated content. The average rating is still important, but the textual part of the review is taking on a new function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A sentence like \u201egreat hotel\u201c gives an AI system little context. In contrast, a comment that room 408 is quiet, breakfast is available from 6:30, or the hotel has covered parking provides data that can be used to answer a very specific query from a future guest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-reputacija-postaje-dio-hotelskog-podatkovnog-profila\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reputation becomes part of the hotel's data profile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tripadvisor also sees this change as a business opportunity. In May, the company confirmed partnerships with OpenAI, Perplexity, Microsoft, Amazon and Anthropic. According to Tripadvisor, traffic from AI sources is still small, but conversion is already among the highest in its channel portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tragento.com\/en\/category\/hotel-resorts\/\" data-type=\"category\" data-id=\"125\">For hoteliers, the consequence is rather practical<\/a>. Review management should no longer end with monitoring the average rating and responding to negative comments. It is worthwhile encouraging guests to describe their actual experience and specific details of their stay, without dictating the content or offering incentives.
