Slovenian gastronomy confirms its quality and annual growth, as evidenced by the new Michelin Guide. The new MICHELIN Guide for Slovenia<\/a> It brings the highest number of recommended addresses to date, as many as 74. This surpasses last year's result by two establishments. In addition to quantitative growth, the key message for the regional travel industry is also important. In times when the hospitality sector is fighting serious battles with profitability and retaining staff, the Slovenian example vividly illustrates how systematic investment in gastronomy directly raises the value of the entire tourism product. The country now boasts a total of 13 stars, one more than last year. Elite status has been retained by key players who have been attracting high-spending gourmet travellers for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuity at the top as a magnet for premium guests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hi\u0161a Franko, led by chef Ana Ro\u0161, has retained its highest gastronomic accolade, remaining at the top with three MICHELIN stars. For Slovenian tourism, this means maintaining its position in an exclusive global club. It is a key asset for tour operators and agencies dealing with luxury and tailor-made trips. At the same time, Milka restaurant and chef David \u017defran have confirmed two stars for the fourth consecutive year. This solidifies the region near the border of Slovenia, Italy and Austria as a top-tier gourmet micro-location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the one-star category, there have been changes. Among a total of eight restaurants with this status, Galerija okusov from Petrov\u010de, led by chef Marko Magajne, appears as a new name. COB, Dam, Gostilna pri Lojzetu, Gri\u010d, Hi\u0161a Denk, Hi\u0161a Linhart, and Pavus have successfully defended their positions.
