Tourism Authority of Thailand he launched a new platform TravelGreenThailand.com, intended for the promotion of sustainable tourism and more responsible travel to Thailand. The goal is clear: to encourage travellers to choose experiences that protect nature and strengthen local communities.
The platform offers an overview of green destinations, certified accommodations, thematic itineraries and practical tips for reducing your ecological footprint. Special emphasis is placed on community-based tourism and local producers.
Continuation of the „Meaningful Travel“ strategy
The launch follows Thailand hosting the Tourism Cares Global Meaningful Travel Summit in September 2025. The new website is a logical continuation of the strategy in which tourism becomes a tool for positive change.
