Air Montenegro will connect Zagreb and Podgorica from November 26th

Three flights a week and continued traffic during the summer of 2027 open up space for business trips and shorter tourist programs between Croatia and Montenegro.

Air Montenegro It plans to launch a direct line between Podgorica and Zagreb on November 26, 2026, and the tickets have, according to an Investitor portal report from October 29, been put on sale. The flights are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. This will bring the two main cities back to a direct air connection after Ryanair ended flights on that route at the end of October 2023.

For travel agencies, the new line brings a concrete opportunity to book trips without connecting flights. The schedule, for example, allows stays from Thursday to Sunday, which could correspond to shorter city breaks and organized programs in both countries.

Morning flights in both directions

According to the published schedule, departure from Podgorica is scheduled for 7:20, with arrival in Zagreb at 8:10. From Zagreb, the aircraft will take off at 8:50, and arrive in Podgorica at 9:40. All times are local, and the planned flight duration is 50 minutes. An Embraer E195 aircraft is scheduled on the route.

The morning shift leaves passengers with a large portion of the day at their destination. However, since a one-day rotation is scheduled, this line does not itself allow for departures and returns on the same day. This is important when planning business meetings and official trips.

Zagreb part of the network expansion with public support

Line It is being introduced as part of Montenegro’s public service obligation (PSO) program. In addition to Zagreb, Air Montenegro includes Brussels, Frankfurt, Paris and Bari in this program, with three flights planned per week on each route.
